Assess the category before assembling the application
Golden Residence provides a long-term residence framework for specified categories of applicants. The evidence for an investor will differ from the evidence for an entrepreneur, professional or person qualifying through recognised achievement.
Eligibility must be considered against the current requirements of the relevant category and authority. An investment proposal, property purchase or professional qualification should not be treated as confirmation that residence will be granted.
How the firm can assist
The firm can review the proposed basis for the application, examine supporting legal documents and identify steps requiring further evidence or official confirmation. For investment matters, the review can be coordinated with the underlying transaction.
- Identify the potentially relevant category and the documentary basis for it.
- Review ownership, company or property records and inconsistencies requiring attention.
- Coordinate legal preparation while preserving any personal-attendance requirements.
- A short account of the proposed qualifying category.
- Investment, title, company or professional records relevant to that category.
- Current residence details and any prior authority correspondence.
An initial outline is enough. Detailed records can follow through a process agreed with the firm.
Questions clients often ask
Can property bought with finance be considered?
Mortgage and ownership documentation can affect the assessment. The relevant authority’s current conditions must be checked against the particular property and applicant.
Can the firm attend the DLD property-investor appointment for me?
No. The DLD service requires the applicant to attend personally. The firm’s assistance can cover legal review and preparation for that appointment.
